"Nepal is a phenomenal country and nothing in my opinion can beat the Himalayas. But you do want an honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable guide." "Tek Rai is this and much, much more and I can't recommend Himalayan Trekking Dreams enough. Friends and I first hired Tek as a guide in 2013 for Everest Base Camp and he was fantastic. He was professional and knowledgeable throughout - from helping to advise on the best itinerary before we left, to leading and looking after us on the trek. He is kind, flexible, patient, attentive and does everything in his power to make sure you have an amazing time. Nothing is ever too much trouble and he always has a smile on his face. He is also great fun to have around!" "I had such a great time I returned to Nepal for my third time this year to do the Upper Mustang Trek. Once again Tek and the Himalayan Trekking Dreams team were amazing. If you're considering trekking in Nepal, you should choose Himalayan Trekking Dreams - you won't regret it!" Thanks, Emma

"I have worked with Himalayan Trekking Dreams on several scientific expeditions. These involved complex logistics with different teams working on different locations and with substantial amount of equipment to be transported to poorly accessible areas. Himalayan Trekking Dreams has organized and managed our trips very skilfully, the team is professional and very pleasant to work with. I can recommend them wholeheartedly." Best - Walter

"I've had the great pleasure of hiring Himalayan Trekking Dreams as logistical support for 4 seasons of scientific research and recreational mountaineering. The logistics have always been carefully thought out, but flexible enough to adapt to even major changes in plans. The tight-knit support crew has been enthusiastic and energetic, loving to spend evenings singing and dancing even after a hard day of travel. Whether your aspirations are for tough through-hikes or permitted peaks, Tek and his crew are ready to meet your needs." Evan

"Himalayan Trekking DreamsWe hired Tek and Moti as guide and porter/assistant guide during a 2 week trip across Upper Mustang in September 2014. It was my first trek so I wanted to book reputable guides and I was in excellent hands! Tek's knowledge of the areas of Nepal was phenomenal. Safety came first and he guided us along routes that were safe, challenging and fun, and matched mine and my friend's pace to ensure we always stayed together. Tek and Moti's cultural knowledge enabled us to appreciate and understand the local architecture and religion, and make friends along the way with the locals, getting a deeper understanding of life in north-western Nepal. I wasn't used to tea house trekking but was very well taken care of by Tek and co, staying in places that offered a good variety of local and westerndishes, decent lodgings and showers along the way!I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Himalayan Trekking Dreams to anyone- they're fantastic friendly and knowledgeable group who show the natural Nepalese hospitality at its best. Well done!" Paul

"During my four stays in Nepal, Tek Bahadur Rai, the director of Himalayan Trekking Dreams became a very close friend. His openhearted attitude proved to be very helpful in different kinds of situations like organizing a difficult trek to remote areas, helping in interacting with people from these villages or supporting me in learning the Nepali language. He always organizes his trips carefully, taking into account the individual wishes and needs of his guests. He not only performs his job as guide and organizer of a trek in an exceptionally professional way, for his guests he is furthermore able to create an access to the culture and people of Nepal due to his friendly, respectful and competent attitude. His longtime experience in dealing with foreign trekkers and visitors leads to a very convenient, pleasant and unforgettable experience for every visitor. The interaction with his guests is one of Tek's most important concerns. His fluency in the English language and his sensibility regarding the perspective of his foreign visitors let him create bridges between the different cultures. This is a quality very important to him and an aspect based on which he selects his team. The relationship to the people working with him is important to him. The assistant guides and porters are often people related to his family or at least close friends from the area where he was born. This affects the team to be exceptional familiar which makes the trek even more exceptional." "I profoundly suggest Himalayan Trekking Dreams for any kind of activity in Nepal. Be it a trek in the Himalayas, a visit of Chitwan National Park or the Kathmandu valley. I sincerely wish Tek and his team of Himalyan Trekking Dreams an outermost successful future!" "During the month we spent in the Langtang valley the team run by Himalayan Trekking Dreams took care of every single detail in order to make our stay highly pleasant and of the highest standard. I have never been so well treated regarding logistics, accommodation and catering in an expedition in my life. Thanks to that we could hand-full focus on the glacier works and the climbing, and the success of our trip relied to a very high extent on the support from Himalayan Trekking Dreams"
